Haggett Hall is beyond its useful life expectancy and is scheduled to be demolished and replaced with new student housing. A new Haggett Hall will be constructed to accommodate approximately 800 student beds and provide facilities that support student fitness, wellness and equity. In addition, the project will incorporate a site and landscape design that offers connectivity to the adjacent north campus student housing and Lewis Grove through integrated pathways, plantings and gathering spaces. The project will implement and utilize both sustainable construction processes and materials to reinforce and achieve campus green building standards. The new Haggett Hall is scheduled to open for the Fall 2027 quarter.
