Absher/KieranTimberlake/GGLO submitted revised permit to SDCI and have already received permit review comments for the combined 4B scope - Oak Hall, Denny Field and Lewis Grove. Absher/GGLO/KT have scheduled ongoing working meetings with UW/HFS to validate project details. Design-Build team issued a consolidated Design Development set for review/confirmation of scope in anticpation of arriving at a GMP early October. Phase 4B site will be temporarily fenced until construction starts in Spring 2019, given that the adjacent and fully occupied Phase 4A buildings will bring a large student population to the area.
Provide safe, affordable, quality housing for up to 360 students. This project will ultimately demolish and replace Haggett Hall, construct a new Oak Hall, and refurbish Denny Field to accommodate year-round day and night recreation opportunities for students. This oncampus housing will provide a community where young scholars are immersed in a carefully structured living and learning environment with opportunities to mature and be successful in their education pursuits. Amenities include a great room and market/café in Oak Hall. Design will complete in Spring 2019, with occupancy of Oak Hall in Autumn 2020.
